2016: //Excursion X Coordinate//

Another eventful day!

A SPLENDID day with Huijie because it wasn't as bored as i thought it would be. I think we both are quite adventurous so despite the crazy weather + my sore/aching thighs, we still decided to go on a mini adventure right after our buffet.( shall elab on it later on hehe)

Speaking about buffet, we went to Momiji and it was..........disappointing(to me). It's a Japanese cuisine buffet restaurant and i paid 26/person and i din't even eat that much. Reason because, it's not nice at all. I really prefer umi sushis etc etc. I was really expecting that there would be a lot of varieties for sushi, but meh, there's like only 8/9 different kinds of sushis and the rest is like.........sashimis that i din't even dare to try because i can see how dry it was just by looking at HJ's plate. KILLED MY APPETITE. even the cha soba......................., UMI SUSHI ONE IS SO MUCH NICER. you know i was so upset because i din't eat my fill yesterday at the Jap restuarant, and so i had my dinner at Umi sushi which consists of cha-soba + 2 packets of sushi. my love for japanese cuisines is just UP THERE ALREADY.

ok lah, the bacon wrapped mushroom is actually quite juicy and tender. HAHAH BEST OF ALL. but go Jap buffet eat this....abit not related right. LOL. but yah it's the best among all!!

actually the chocolate fondue wasn't bad too. HAHAHA strawberries dipped in chocolate. The guavas + rockmelon is good too.. yah noticed how i din't mention about other food........

So after having our buffet, huijie suggested us to go to Fortcanning to have a look at the battlebox. HAHAH i was damn reluctant to go cuz my thighs are aching from the previous dance practices, but instead of walking aimlessly at dhoby ghaut, i just decided to go along with her and it turned out to be a good mini adventure. hoho.

OK SO HERE COMES THE FUNNY PART. We actually lost our way to the battle box, yah WE LOST OUR WAY and we saw the approaching tourist. LOL. so we asked him for directions LOLOLOL and then he took out his tourist map and started talking to us. So we realised we're going to the same destination and then we walked together with him. THIS IS THE TIME WHEN HE TURNED AND ASKED IF WE'RE FROM WHAT COUNTRY/ ARE WE A TOURIST etcetc. something along the line. WTTTTshit. HAHA then huijie was like "No, we're local..." HAHAHHA EMBARRASSING SHIT.

he ended up helping us take this touristy shot which i love!!!! very nice. hehe

we wanted to head to the battlebox, but it's closed for renovation :( (just our luck) and then the tourist suggested to go to the National Archives of Singapore, we din't mind since we din't have any place to go so off we went together. ok long story cut short.

so we headed to national museum > national archives board or something that's not the place we're looking for and thus we ended up in Peranakan Museum.

Not a very appreciate-museum person but i must say that MUSEUMS ARE REALLY ENRICHING/INFORMATIVE. i love museums now. HAHHA can't wait to start exploring next time. Especially art museums. Since i'm in the design-line, i need to learn how to appreciate art. AHHAA

The tourist left us after our P.museum tour, we found a spot for OOTD!!!

and my coordinate for the day! Clean and safe-to-wear look! Just a casual white T-shirt, matched with a skirt and threw on the outerwear and i'm ready to go :)
